Chlosite

Chlosite is an adjuvant gel in the treatment of periodontal and peri-implant pockets. The occluding action and humectant effect of the gel combined with the ancillary action of two types of chlorhexidine, disadvantage bacterial recolonization; thus, the organism can re-institute the healing process.

Chlosite can be used in cases of severe and extensive chronic periodontopathy because, due to the occluding action of the gel, it limits pocket recolonization after mechanical instrumentation, as well as during peri-implantitis. Chlosite can thus mechanically protect treated pockets for at least two weeks, promoting their healing.
