FISIOGRAFT is a medical device used in regenerative surgery: the contact surface is represented by bone tissue while its duration lasts from 60 to 180 days. It has made for medical use only (dentistry, implantology, periodontist, maxillofacial).
Fisiograft has different formulas, single-dosed and sterilized through gamma rays (25 kGy). They contain bio-absorbable compounds of Polylactic acid (PLA) and Polyglycolic acid (PGA).
The PLA-PGA copolymer has a low density and maintains the reabsorbing space between the defected bone level and the connective tissue above it. After being penetrated by blood, the copolymer allows the osteocytes to replace it until the formation of the natural bone tissue.
This polymer is biocompatible, hypoallergenic, and does not produce any inflammatory reaction.
Fisiograft allows it to being progressively penetrated and replaced by the trabecular bone. The three formulas can be used alone or combined and guarantee an easier collocation and integration with the tissues.

It has made with the copolymer PLA-PGA in PEG. This innovative formula can fill irregular cavities in which the strip can't completely close the defect. The gel has a better cohesion inside the cavity. From a biological point of view, it allows better biocompatibility and a harmonious degradation of both copolymer and co-formulants (dextran and polyethene glycol) easily assimilated by the organism through the metabolic pathway.
Produced through the freeze-drying process of the PLA-PGA copolymer and dextran, shows a moderate consistency. If hydrated with a physiological solution or blood, it can be carried inside the defect without being compacted.
It has obtained from the pulverization of the sponge. Powder and sponge are used combined to fill bone defects, post-extraction cavities or bone losses.
